Asafo: Motor rider crashed to death
One person has lost his life in a motorbike accident, leaving another injured at Sefwi-Asafo in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality of the Western North region.

An eyewitness told Sefwinews.com’s Clement Nomoh that a rider is said to have attempted to overtake a vehicle and crash another motorbike that was travelling in the opposite direction.
He said one of them was traveling from Sefwi Asawinso to Sefwi Dwenase and another victim was heading towards Asawinso.
The accident happened on Monday evening around 6 pm at a sharp curve near Benito School in Sefwi Asafo.
The two victims, whose names are unknown, were ejected from the motorbike which one of them died on the spot after his head hit the ground while the other motor rider survived but with serious degrees of injuries.

The victim is currently receiving treatment at St John of God Hospital, Asafo.
However, one of the victims with motorbike registration number M-21-AW 3134 is believed to be a staff of Nyonkopa Cocoa Buying Limited.
