Marburg virus disease has no cure- Public Health Officer

A Public Health Officer for Ghana Heath Service (GHS), in the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Mr. Thomas Quayson has revealed that, the disease, Marburg virus has no cure.
According to the Health Practitioner in a studio interview on Silver FM’s morning show hosted by Nana Ampratwum today, Monday, July 18, 2022, the symptoms of the disease can only be managed but the disease itself currently has no drug to cure it.
He mentioned blood-tears, blood vomiting, running stomach and many others as signs and victims of the Marburg virus disease.
Continuing during the interview monitored by Filasconews.com, Mr. Quayson disclosed that, bats, the monkey, deers etc. are part of the causative agents of the Marburg virus disease to human beings via open sore.
He added that the disease can also be transfered from human to another human being by coming into close contact with infected person if their their swelling sore gets into your cut sore.
Finally, Mr. Thomas Quayson advised Ghanaians to take serious precautions about the disease as GHS continues protecting the whole nation.
