Girl Child Education: Atwima Kwanwoma gets support from UNESCO

The girl child education has become a topmost priority for every country.

Many governments, stakeholders among others are advocating for its success
Today, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization [UNESCO] as part of its support for school children especially for the ladies has donated sanitary pads, school bags to the Atwima Kwanwoma Education Directorate to share to the schools in the area.

Speaking to Kessben news after the presentations, the project coordinator for UNESCO, James Harry Obeng said supporting girl child education is a priority of UNESCO, hence, this donation.
He said UNESCO will continue to support education.

Mrs. Dorris Ofori, District Director of Education, Atwima Kwanwoma, receiving the items applaud UNESCO for the gesture.

She said they directorate will also distributed the items to the students as soon as possible.
