The Grand finale of the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) was held today, November 26, 2021 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
The finalists included: the host Region’s rep and Four(4) times champions of the quiz, Prempeh College, the country’s capital rep and Six (6) times champions of the quiz, Presbyterian Boys Senior High School, Legon (PRESEC) and the first time contenders from the Volta Region, Keta Senior High and Technical School (KETASCO).
At the end of the rounds, Prempeh beats their main rival and first runner up by 4 points i.e 53points against 49 points and the second runner up, KETASCO has 30 points.
The quiz mistress, Dr. Elsie Kaufmann declared the Kumasi based Senior High School, Prempeh College the winner taking their trophies to Five (5) in numbers. PRESSEC and KETASCO, second and third position respectively.
Prempeh has won the coveted trophy, bragging rights and then cash prize of Ghc80,000

PRESSEC = 49 points (Second)
KETASCO = 30 points
