GSS to release final census results and other detailed information next week
Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) has disclosed that the final census results will be released by next week together with other detailed information.
The results will give the Population census demographics based on ethnicity, religion and others in percentage wise.
The Head of the 2021 Census Methodology, Mr. Owusu Kagya disclosed this on Omanbapa Morning Show on Silver FM in Kumasi on November 9, 2021 monitored by filasconews.com.
He said the speculated 2021 Population census demographics on many social media platforms is fake and should not be given attention.
He said, the people behind the circulation of the fake results dwelled on 2010 census figures and sketch their figures from.
Mr. Kagya added that critical observation into their fake results depicts a lot of loopholes even wrong spellings of names.
“My brother let me state empathically to you and your listeners that GSS have not released the final results for the Population census specifically on ethnicity and religion”, Mr. Owusu told the host of the program, Nana Ampratwum.
He therefore called on Ghanaians to ignore the results stressing that, “the final results of the 2021 Population census and all the other detailed information will be out by next week”.
