Scores of passengers stranded as Taxi drivers declare strike(Contact)
Taxi Drivers in Western Region have declared a 3 day sit down strike over bad road networks in the area.
The taxi drivers in the following towns in the Western Region, Asankragwa in Amenfi West Municipality, Manso Amenfi in Amenfi Central District, Bogoso and Wasa Akropong Municipality.
Speaking to the press, the peeved drivers said, they are working in vain as they spend all their daily earnings on repairs.
They said, all the road networks in the aforementioned Municipalities and Districts in the Western Region.
They have therefore declared three days sit down strike.
“We are not working, we are on sit down strike for three days until we see improvement on the roads”, driver, Acquah told Filasconews.com today, July 21, 2022.
