NIA Office shutdown over electricity debt
National Identification Office in Twifu Praso has shutdown over unable to pay their Electricity bill.

According to report gathered by Accra Fm CTV Network Central Regional Correspondent Nana Tawiah
revealed that,the office was closed down when the Electricity Company of Ghana Officials in the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District disconnected the Electricity due to high debt of the office.
Report revealed that,they are owing Electricity bill for over five years which has pushed the debt higher.
The National Identification Authority office is located opposite the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District Assembly.
Meanwhile,the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District Chief Executive has also ordered the Assembly to shutdown the National Identification Authority office indefinitely over dirty environment.
The District Chief Executive according to him said,the National Identification Authority office has turned into rubbish dump which people litter rubbish there,he also said people ease themselves at the office premises which doesn’t promote sanity.

He said, workers at the Assembly don’t take good care of the NIA building making the building turned into refuse dump.
Speaking in an interview with Accra Fm CTV Network Central Regional Correspondent Nana Tawiah. some of the residents who were at the National Identification Authority office waiting for the officials to register their cards for them said,they are unable to register for their National Identification Cards because the office has locked down for over two months now.
They said,they have not registered for the National Identification Cards so they are hit having some.
Some said, unless they travels to Cape Coast and other District before registering for their cards.
Investigation gathered by Accra Fm/C TV Network Central Regional Correspondent Nana Tawiah revealed that,over 70 percent of Residents in the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District have not registered for their National Identification Cards which according to them is worrying them.
Meanwhile, speaking in an interview with Accra Fm/CTV Network Central Regional Correspondent Nana Tawiahthe Formar Member of Parliament for Twifu Atti-Morkwa Constituency Hon.Samuel Ato Amaoh also blemed the District Chief Executive for inability of the Assembly not paying the Electricity bill.
The Formar Legislator according to him is not happy how the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District is being manage by the District Chief Executive Hon.Agyeman Nyantakyi and the NPP government.

He said,the government has made it mandatory for every Ghanaian to register for their National Identification Cards which will be linked to all the Identification Cards we having but for the passes three months now the National Identification Authority office is not working in the District.
He said,the shutdown of the office has really affected the life of the Residents in the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District.
He said, Residents needs to travel far distance before doing their Ghana Identification Cards.
People had to travel to other far District and Region before they can do their Ghana Card.
He said,the Situation is really worrying the Residents in the District which needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
He also said,due to the Government Unable to pay the Zoomlion workers in the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District has contribute to the massive dirty in the District.
He said, Twifu Atti-Morkwa District is full of rubbish including the District Assembly.
He appealed to the government to address the poor health issues in the Twifu Atti-Morkwa District.
