After failing to make his life better, a dancehall musician from Bangwe Township in Blantyre has ended his life.
The musician whose name is Augustine Maluwa Jnr aka Ancient King Jericho said in a suicide note before taking his life, that he tried his best to be what he wanted but remained unsuccessful.
The promising dancehall star, said he got depressed after seeing that no matter how hard he tried nothing worked in his favor and started abusing drugs and alcohol.
According to him, everything in this life is unreal, except death hence a decision to kill himself.
He then requested that on his funeral ceremony, no choir songs should be played but his friends should honor him by singing songs he loved the most.
King Jericho well known for songs like Wa Escom, Kamodzi, and Akwere was an Electrician by profession aside from doing music.
