DCE, 3 others arrested after Police retrieved missing Ellembelle excavator
The Intelligence Officers of the Ghana Police Service in the Western region have retrieved one of the two missing excavators in Ellembelle District.
The excavator was recovered several kilometers in a forest within the Ellembelle District.
Meanwhile, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ellembelle and three other people have been arrested for obstruction.
The DCE, Hon. Kwasi Bonzo and the three persons arrested in Ellembelle have all been transfered to the regional police command, Takoradi for further investigation into the matter.
One other excavator is still missing.
However, the police has assured the general public that, it is working day and night to recover the remaining excavator.
The police have also served notice that, it is investigation deeply to unravel all the hidden details in the matter.
The statement continued that, all individuals behind the missing of the excavators will be brought to book.
