A/R: 13 out of 21 Homabenase notorious landguards in fresh trouble(Contact,Photos)
The thirteen out of the twenty one notorious landguards arrested by the Ashanti Regional police at Homabenase have landed themselves in fresh trouble in the hands of Donyina police command.
The 13 out the 21 notorious langurds accused persons have remanded to police custody over land vigilantism by the Kwaso magistrate court of the Ejisu municipality.
The 21 were arrested by the Ashanti regional anti robbery unit at the central police command at Homabenase near Donyina Within Bosomtwe District in the Ashanti Region.
Chief Inspector, Godwin Amedzo in his prosecution told the Court that, the 13 accused persons are on their wanted list for various degrees of crime at the Donyina police command.
Chief Inspector Amedzo said, for couple of months, all efforts by the command to get these notorious guards provedd futile.
He happily revealed that, they got wind of them after the Ashanti Regional Anti Robbery Squad apprehended them in their operation at Homabenase.
The 13 have therefore been transfered to stand prosecution.
Furthermore, the Police Chief prayed to the court to remand the 13 for further investigations into the matter.
The Court, hearing the plea of the police granted it and remanded the 13 into custody.
They will reappear in court on Thursday, July 14, 2022.
