The Headmistress of Sampa Islamic KG and Primary School in the Jaman North District of the Bono region, Madam Esther Wiredu Sasah has appealed to the government and the Jaman North District Chief Executive to add their school to the school feeding program.
She said the school feeding program when introduced in the school will reduce the rate of the kids going home to purchase food during break time which sometimes result to accidents and other unfortunate incidents thereby increasing academic performance of the pupils and the enrollment of the school as well.
Madam Esther Sasah again pleaded with philanthropists and other stakeholders to support the school with tables and chairs because the school lacks furniture making teaching and learning difficult for the teachers and the learners.
