The residents of Akrofuom in the Ashanti Region have lynched three suspected robbers to death.

They killed all the 3 suspects following a robbery incident in the area.

A report, gathered from the community by filasconews indicated that, the  residents Akrofuom had distress information from one of their sister communities, Yaa Dome, concerning alleged robbery operations in the community.

It was alleged that, Seven (7) armed robbers including the deceased stormed Yaa Dome, and robbed some Gold dealers in the community.

The people of Yaa Dome, a nearby town to Akrofuom conveyed the information to Akrofuom community, and immediately, a barrier was set in the road.

Breaking news: At least 4 people butchered following a bloody communities clash at Onwe


A sprinter bus without registration with Seven (7) passengers on board (all men), from Yaa Dome was apprehended at the barrier at Akrofuom.

Four out of the Seven (4/7) people on board the bus, escaped, immediately the vehicle was stopped by the people.

This, energised and motivated the locals to confirming that, all the people in the Sprinter bus were the armed robbers, after retrieving also, deadly weapons such as Pistol, one AK47, Machete etc. from them.

They, therefore subjected the remaining three to severe beatings, killing them instantly.

The deceased namely: Issah Adams, 39, Saddick Mohammed, 35, and a 41-year old Kwabena Dagaati.

Their bodies had since been conveyed by the police and deposited at the morgue.
