Breaking news: At least 4 people butchered following a bloody communities clash at Onwe

Four people have been butchered following a clash between two communities in Ejiso Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The youths in these communities: Onwe and Abaase, all in the same Municipality clashed in a local sport at Onwe, leading to the butchering of at least four people.

The Assembly Member of Wontenase-Aburaso electoral area, which covers Onwe, Hon. Isaac Aboagye Antwi a.k.a Hon. Kwaku Dede confirmed the disheartening incident on a Kumasi based Silver FM’s morning show today, February 15, 2022.

He revealed to the host of the program, Nana Ampratwum that, the youths from these communities, for some times now have being engaging deadly brawls at the same sport.

As to what triggers the uncalled for scuffle, the assembly member said, authorities are yet to unravel it.

Hon. Kwaku Dede also disclosed that, “One of the victim’s eyes got hurt, and I don’t think one of his eyes would be effective again. It has damaged”.

The case has been officially reported to the Ejisu Police.
