With no malice and prejudice, this is one of the videos by Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II, the Overlord of the Dormaa in circulation and and yet to see other videos in contradiction of this particular one.

Among others Osagyefo has raised some developmental concerns during his clean up tour on the Dormaa Traditional areas notably projects.

I have carefully watched some of the videos of Dormaahene on social media and have taken judicial notices of some.

May I respectfully state that as a political Party our attempt to respond to some of the comments made by Chiefs on developmental issues should be carefully measured to avoid serious conflicts between our political Party and Tradition.

As a political Party, we serve as an embodiment of decorum and decency. Political Parties came to existence through Democracy and we need to be very tolerant. We must be more disciplined in our composure, demeanor, utterances that will be appealing to Ghanaians to give us another mandate to break the Eight (8).

Presently and currently, these traditional Councils who are Members of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs perceive our Party in a certain way; BandaAhenkro, Drobo, Sunyani and Now Dormaa. Even the Muslim fraternity feel aggrieved by previous comments made by some Members of our Party.

We may be right in responding to comments made by the Chiefs but I strongly believe that “Vindication is in the womb of time. If you react to present circumstances you can miss the future and tomorrow.Do not allow what you are going through today or dealing with today worry you because tomorrow it will mean nothing to you. The temptations, trials, embarrassment, scandal, reproach, misrepresentation and everything you are dealing with today is a passing wind and it will pass.”

We should always remember that, largely our campaign is made up of Courtesy calls to our Traditional Authorities and whatever step we take we must be careful. There is a clear difference between being in Government and being in Opposition therefore we must be extra careful.

We must refrain from taunting our own Party folks, Traditional Authorities, the Clergy, identifiable and unidentifiable groups whenever they criticize Nana Akufo-Addo – Dr Bawumia government and our government because criticisms make us more stronger.

Let’s not lose focus in preaching our beautiful developmental projects and encouraging our Government to do more for the citizenry.

Braking the Eight (8) will not be achieved on a silver platter. We need to reconcile our Party and be beautifully flaming in unity towards 2024.

I am a proud son of Dankwa, Dombo Busia Traditional.
