A/R: Fire destroys section of Ohwim-Atafoa Forest Reserve
Atafoa-Ohwim Forest Reserve in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti has been gutted by fire.
The inferno has destroyed section of the forest.
The fire started yesterday, Sunday, 9th January, 2022, at about 2:30-3pm.
The fire is not doused completely, our checks this morning from the place revealed.
Some trees were seen burning at the time we arrived the place around 7:30am today, Monday, January 10, 2022.
The Fire officers o duty this morning told us on the ground that, the situation is under investigation.
