A Non Governmental Organization (NGO) called Lydia Osei Charity Foundation (LOCF) has showed love to the inmates of Kumasi Central Prisons in the Ashanti Region.
Mrs. Lydia Osei, the Chief Executive Officer of LOCF in an interview with Filasco Degeneral to unravel the secrete behind her unflinching donation supports to the vulnerable in the societies across Ghana said, as a true Christian and a believer of the Almighty God, she does her donations in accordance with the holy book, the Bible.
She quoted the Bible, saying, “the Bible says we should love our neighbour as ourselves and we should also not despise our brothers and sisters in trouble”, this according to her, motivate and encourage her to show love to people in need.
Assorted food items and physical cash were donated to the prison officers on behalf of the inmates.
Giving advice after the presentation, Mrs. Osei encouraged the inmates to show good character especially to the ones who would be released to join the societies soon.
She also entreated the rich individuals in the societies to support such centers families soon
She did the donation on the Christmas Eve.
