Churches urged to take keen interest in 1D1F
Methodist Church, Pentecost, Roman Catholic, Apostolic, Assemblies of God, Presbyterian Church, Seventh Day Adventist and others including all the one man churches have been urged to take keen interest in government’s policy, One District One Factory (1D1F).
According to the Senior Citizen, the intervention is a good policy and must be supported by all the churches to sustain it.
He said, Ghana’s economy is hugely pushed by agriculture hence his call for investment into the One District One Factory policy by Churches.
Adding that, the country is populous with christians, therefore, investment by church heads into agric would encourage their members to buy into it.
The Aboasohene Kyeame made this known today to the press.
Nana Kwarteng was sad that, modern day churches have developed more interest in building stores and schools rather than investing in other developmental programs such as the 1D1F.
He has therefore urged the churches to wane their interest in stores erecting and turn into agric by investing in 1D1F policy.
