Crime: Bread seller gruesomely murdered in Ashanti Region.
A bread seller has been gruesomely murdered in the Ashanti Region at a locality called Atwima-Koforidua in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District.
According to report, the disheartening incident happened on Thursday, November 25,2021 but was exposed on Saturday, November 27,2021 by residents.
The deceased, Juliana Kyerewaa Darko, bread seller at Adum, believed to be in her 30s decomposed body was found in her room on Saturday, November 27 by her tenants.
Narrating to uncalled incident to Filasco DeGeneral, some co- tenants of the deceased, said, they became suspicious after the late Juliana disappeared from the community three days after her long time boyfriend visited her adding that strange odor began emanating from the late’s room.
They continued that the bad smell prompted them to inform the landlord of the house, Mr. Boadu Samuel in order to find her whereabout.
They attempted checking from her room but it was locked outside.
The police in the area were therefore called to intervene into the matter. The room was forcibly unlocked by the security officers and to the surprise of all the residents, tenants and people around, the 30 year old bread seller, Juliana Kyerewaa Darko’s remains was found in a decomposed state on her bed with blood oozing from all parts of the body and some spilled all over the room suggesting that, she struggled with her assailant/s.
The body had since been conveyed by the police and deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for autopsy and preservation.
Investigation is ongoing but the suspected murderer/s is/are yet to be apprehended.
