Anyamony school in dire need of help

The Headmaster of Anyamony Presbyterian Primary and Junior High School at Upper Manya Krobo in the Eastern Region, Mr. Emmanuel Tawiah has appealed to government, Non – Governmental Organisations (NGO’s) and individuals to come to their aid.

He said, the School’s population is over 270 but have challenges of teaching curriculum, electricity, computers for ICT, water crises and inadequate teachers syndrome.

According to him, the situation has been since written and reported to Ghana Education Service (GES) for solutions which he also copied to the District Chief Executive then the Assemblyman, Chief of the are but none have responded.

Mr. Emmanuel Tawiah indicated that the situation is making it difficult for him to admit students into the school due to the situation therefore he is calling on the government, NGOs and philanthropists to come and support the teachers and students to have conducive environment to teach and learn.

He has also appealed to Ghana Education Service to pay attention to Headmasters promotions which is on paper but not reflect to their salaries.
