I’m really disappointed in my MP- Assembly member fumes
Aassembly member for Buokrom Estate in the Manhyia North Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Hon. Kwame Agyemang has shockingly stated that, he is disappointed in his Member of Parliament (MP).
Speaking on a Kumasi based radio station, Silver FM’s morning show dubbed Omanbapa today, Wednesday, November 10,2021, monitored by filasconews, the assembly member accused the MP of breaking their confidentiality.
Hon. Kwame Agyemang disclosed during the interview with the host, Nana Ampratwum that, the MP, exposed a confidential letter to the public.
He said, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) concerning the reshaping, leveling and fencing of the park signed by him and Contractor Construction became public few hours the Ex State MP requested for the details of it with section of the people within the Constituency accusing him and a Chief for collecting bribe.
He pointed out that, to him, whatever he is doing for the Electoral area as an assembly member is transparent and devoid of corrupt act but said, since the circulation of the MoU by the Ex State MP some people have started spewing false information about him and a Chief to tarnish their reputable images claiming, they(assembly man and a chief) have connived and have collected money from the contractor to demolish a Park which he said there is no aorta of truth in it.
“I’m focused and poised to helping and developing his Electoral area and improve the welfare of the people so these things don’t encourage me”, Hon. Kwame Agyemang said.
Finally, he entreated the people of Ex state to remain calm especially the ‘boys boys’ as he will not do anything or attempt doing any harm to the park or any other thing but calls for support and oneness to develop the Constituency.
