The residents of Ejisu Domeabra in the Ashanti Region have been thrown into a state of shock after two kids from different parents drown in an abandoned water tank in the area.
This sadden incident happened today, November 4, 2021-11:30am.
The kids namely: Lukeman, 4 and Blessing, 2, dead bodies was found floating on the open- cement water tank after shortly missing from the house in the early hours of today.
The parents of the deceaseds, Maame Joe and Lukaya were searching for their wards in the nearby communities after they left home without returning.
They were later told that, their kids have been found dead in the abandoned tank in the area.
Confirming the incident to Filasco DeGeneral, the assembly member of the area, Hon. Engineer Emmanuel Boakye a.k.a George said, he heard the disturbing news from the parents and went to the scene only to see the two bodies floating on the water tank.
He added that the bodies had since been conveyed and deposited at the Oniwaa Hospital’s morgue in the Oforikrom Municipality of the Ashanti Region for autopsy.
