SAD NEWS: Elijah, 21, fatally stabbed trying to breakup a fight
A Twenty One year old boy, identified as Elijah, has been stabbed to death by one Akpalu, at a community called, Krupaho in the Wasa Akropong District of the Western Region.
According to information gathered by filasconews from some eye eyewitnesses including Akwasi Mahuwo, the deceased was separating a fight between a friend and the 22-year old suspect at a famous pub in the area called, Columbia Pub.
In the process, the suspect felt threaten, thinking that the deceased was trying to supporting his friend, in order to defeat him.
He therefore pulled out the deadly weapon and stabbed Elijah in the rib to death.
His body had since been deposited at Wasa Akropong District Hospital for autopsy and preservation.
Meanwhile, the suspect, Akpalu, 22, is currently in the custody of the Wasa Akropong police.
In reaction, the residents are calling on the authorities to as a matter of urgency close down the pub.
They lamented that, the place is serving as a niche for criminals and house for wrongdoings.
The incident occured on 26 February, 2022.
