The Rt Hon Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has categorically stated that he has not granted permission to Dome/Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Sarfo to absent her from Parliament on health grounds.
He said, he has not granted an interview to any media house about the whereabout of madam Adwoa Sarfo and also, have not given information on her absenteeism or otherwise to anyone, since the votes and proceedings of Parliament (Parliament register) captures all such informations of the House.
Therefore, the Speaker of Parliament is not the one to determine which MP is absent or present to carry their Parliamentary duties.
