Ukraine Crisis: Parliament urges Gov’t to urgently evacuate Ghanaian students(Audio)

The Hon minority leader, Harruna Iddrisu has called on minister for Foreign Affairs, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta and Minister for Interior, Ambrose Dery to take urgent steps to evacuate Ghanaian students to Ghana.

According to him, the current situation in UKRAIN is worrying and a decision must be taken as soon as practicable to rescue our students.

Supporting the call, the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South, lawyer Samuel Atta Kyea and the Deputy Majority Leader Afenyo Markin lauded the Minority leader for showing Patriotism on this national issue and also urged government and the appropriate State agencies to act swiftly by rescuing our students in UKRAINE.

Finally, the member of parliament for Elembele, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah charged government to put proper measures in place to curb the current increase in fuel prices as the development in Ukraine can affect the country’s petroleum sector.
