2024 election will be a “slap for a slap”, “a kick for a kick” – NDC organiser tells NPP
The National Organizer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yammin has warned the New Patriotic Party (NPP), it is ready to unleash force in the same measure if it dishes it out.
He says the NDC will not stand aloof for the ruling NPP to act in ways that are meant to cow their members into accepting a defeat in the general elections.
In a Facebook post sighted by MyewsGH.com the NDC Organizer, said if it means applying the laws of Moses in the Bible an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth the NDC will do the same.
“Let no one deceive them to think we are not prepared for them come 2024. I still stand by my campaign pledge to the NDC delegates that the Moses principle of YOU SLAP I SLAP, YOU KICK I KICK, YOU STOP I STOP is the guiding principle of the NDC into 2024 as long as I remain the National Organizer of the Great NDC” he said.
The 2024 elections are considered a make-or-break for the survival of the two parties in Ghana’s politics.
While the NPP is trying to continue its rule by breaking the 8 mantra, the NDC is looking at a comeback to wrestle power from the NPP.
Only time will tell as both parties prepare for their presidential primaries with the NDC taking the lead while the NPP will have theirs in November.
