W/R: Ayiem elders and residents cry to Gov’t to just reshape their deplorable road for them | VIDEOS
The elders and the residents of Ayiem in the Wassa Amenfi Central District of the Western Region, have cried to government, to as a matter of urgency reshape their deplorable road networks for them.
According to the disappointed elders and residents, their road have been in a bad state for years without any facelift.
They are therefore appealing to the government to come to their aid this time.
They said, they are not even asking for a fully asphalted road but, just a reshaping on their road, will excite the people and drivers plying on it.
The Gyaasehene of Wassa Ayiem Traditional Council, Nana Kofi Amoako on his part disclosed that, their Member of Parliament (MP) has failed them.
Nana Amoako said, the MP during his 2020 campaign promised do help construct the road for them if they vote him into power.
After winning the 2020 parliamentary election, the MP has failed to fulfill his pledge to the people.
What pains the people according to Gyaasehene Nana Kofi Amoako is that, the MP returned to the community after winning the election, and when asked about the road…. he told the people MP does not construct road.
