Interesting: NDC MP hopeful advises Prof Jane Naana to improve her fashion
A National Democratic Congress NDC MP Hopeful in the Anlo Constituency Dela Goldheart has advised 2020 Running Mate of opposition NDC, Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman to improve her fashion.
According to Ms Goldheart who is also a feminist, image matters and women are judged harshly for it.
“Image matters and our society judges women more harshly for it. Moreover, she could spend the same money but have better outfits so why not?” She wrote.
Dela Goldheart who is a parliamentary aspirant in the Anlo Constituency said she hoped her message won’t upset the members of the party.

“I tried to send her a message via messenger but then I realized it may be too personal (unwanted advice from a stranger) and she is likely not the one managing her account. So here we go (into the possible fire)
I think Prof. Naana needs to get a better designer and hairdresser (we have so many amazing Ghanaian, West African and African designers who makes Elite clothing). Not that her looks are more important than the work she is doing. But because image matters and our society judges women more harshly for it. Moreover, she could spend the same money but have better outfits so why not?
PS: I do not mean this as a disrespect to her and certainly hope I don’t upset NDC supporters. This is a suggestion made in good faith. I would have mentioned this to her if I had a personal relationship with her but she is way above my periphery so this is my way of doing it.
