Strict measures put in place to curb K.O insecurity- KMA Justice and Security Committee assures

A member of the Justice and Security Committee of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has disclosed that, stringent measures have been putting on place at Krobo Odumase (K.O) within the Assembly of the Ashanti Region, to curb the insecurity in the area.

Residents in the electoral area have been complaining about the rise in robberies and bullying by rascals, mostly gamblers in the area.

The people on several occasions have complained about regular stabbing and beatings meted out to the victims of those rascals.

But, woe betides any resident or trader around that area to cough, they will attack you.

However, commenting on the issue for the second times today, Monday, 10th January, 2022, on Silver FM’s Omanbapa Morning Show hosted by Nana Ampratwum, a member of the Justice and Security Committee of KMA, Hon. Kwame Agyemang popularly known as Adwumawura, assured that, the Assembly has heard the cries of the people and have laid down strong security plans to fighting against and uprooting the menace.

Hon. Kwame Agyemang, who also doubles as the Assembly member for Buokrom Estate in the Manhyia North Constituency added that, the Assembly would this time bite hard on the criminals in the area.

“Mr. Ampratwum, we are serving the people and want to alleviate their problems especially in situations like this.

So this time round, we are not going to be soft on them, we will deal with them strongly”, Hon. Agyemang reiterated.
