Fire outbreak at Kantamanto market in the the Greater Accra Region has destroyed a lot of shops.
At least Fifteen (15) shops according to eye witnesses have been burnt into ashes by the inferno.
The fire outbreak happened in the early hours of Tuesday November 29, 2022.
Apart from destroying shops, other goods worth thousands of cedis have all been ravaged by the fire.
Personnel from the Ghana Fire Service have arrived at the scene to douse the fire but several properties have already burnt.
The cause of the fire which affected the shops near the railway line at the Kantamanto market is yet to be uncovered by the fire personnel.
“The personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service were unable to stop the blaze after they run out of water”, eye witness Charles told the press.
He said the officers from the Ghana National Fire Service called for more of the vehicles to be able to controlling the fire.
No serious casualty was recorded.
