A/R: Cheerful delegates turn Baba Yara into ecstatic ground after Bawumia’s arrival

The happiness was overwhelming that, Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, the Ashanti Region’s capital was converted into an ecstatic ground by cheerful New Patriotic Party’s delegates after the Vice President of the Republic arrived.

The uncountable delegates and supporters in and outside the stadium who couldn’t hide their joy at during the arrival of Dr. Bawumiah at the their National Delegates Conference today, Sunday, December 19,2021 at the aforementioned place, chanted his name and danced whiles singing along with praises showing solidarity to the hardworking Veep.

The arena appeared like a 6th March ground where almost all the delegates marched straight to the Vice President to joining the moment with him for his good works as the nation’s Veep ever.

It is yet to be known whether the Vice President would declare his intention to aspiring for the flagbearer’s position of the party after his boss, his father and friend, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa’s reign but what the world witnessed today in Ashanti Region, the region known to many as the alien region to the Vice President, is signifying and proving that, delegates have already settled on their choice for the impending 2024 general election, who to lead them.

Some delegates were held in the crowd saying that, ” you are our man and the man of the people. 2024 is for you”.

It was like a Yuletide eve in Ashanti as it took the intervention of huge security personnels to paving way for the Vice President who arrived at the conference ground with his lovely wife, Mrs. Bawumia to assume their seats after several minutes of blockade by the joyous delegates who flooded his way.

Meanwhile, the party executives banned and warned supporters of the aspirants in the party vying for the various positions but the crowd that roared for the Vice President today can never be quenched from registering their love and support for the him by any means.

‘It is an eye-saw, the roaring and boiling for the veep at the national delegates conference’.

Section of the delegates in a random vox pop with Filasco DeGeneral pleaded with the other flagbearer aspirants to forget and throw their weight behind the vice President, Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia after Nana Addo.
