SAD: 70-Year-Old Man Commits Suicide Over Marital Issues At Gomoa-Manso

A Seventy (70) year old man has committed suicide at Gomoa-Manso in the Central Region.
According to the report, Nana Kofi(now decease) committed the act after a divorce from his long time wife.
Nana Kwadwo Asare reporting on Angel FM’s Evening News in Accra on Wednesday, 24th August, 2022, monitored by Filasconews.com said, the incident happened around 1pm today.
He disclosed that, the late Nana Kofi was the “Abusuapanin” for the Kona clan at Gomoa-Manso.
His long time wedded wife(namewithheld) divorced him somewhere in 2020 over a reason over a reason that can be best explained the wife alone.
All attempts to get his wife back over the past two years proved futile.
According to the report, Nana Kofi attempted suicide after the divorce by taking in weedicide but was saved by the timely intervention of some relatives in the house.
Unfortunately, around 1pm today, Wednesday, August 24, the old man succeeded in committing suicide by hanging in his room.
