A/R: Nwabiagya South MP Nearly Lynched By Irate Constituents(VIDEOS)

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Atwima Nwabiagya South was nearly lynched by irate youth at Amanchia for neglecting the community.

According Silver Fm’s reporter, Kwabena Wireko, canopies and chairs were destroyed by the youth in an attempt to beat the MP.

The chief of Amanchia in the Atwima Nwabigya South constituency, Nana Afrifa Boasa II addressing the MP and his entourage stated categorically clear that the NPP can never win the 2024 general election in the country.

The angry chief made this comment when the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere took his tour to Amanchia to engage the constituents in order to know the problems in the constituency, dubbed “talk to your MP tour”.

The tour began yesterday 23rd August 2022 and is presumed to continue until Parliament resumes sitting. He started the tour from Amanchia through to Nkonteng and ended yesterday’s tour at Kobeng.

In Amanchia, Hon Anhwere who engaged the chief and his traditional council as well as the residents of the community was later subjected to verbal attacks and serious threats from the constituents who are not happy with the NPP government.

The residents expressed their anger, frustration and disappointment in the government but more towards the MP himself since he made promises but failed to deliver.

Hon Anhwere said, he does not refute what they are saying. He knows and understands the situation but it is a split decision on monetary issues in the 8th Parliament since there is equal number of MPs in both majority and minority.
