Minor, one other arrested for alleged murder of motorbike rider in Benebene
The police say the suspect and the minor after robbing their victim of his boxer motorbike, murdered and buried him in a cocoa farm near benebene
The police with support from some members of the Fiankoma community arrested two persons including a minor, for allegedly robbing a motorbike rider and murdering him in the process in Fiankoma in the Ashanti Region.
According to a statement by the police, “the suspect and the minor after robbing their victim, Osei Mensah Daniel, a third-year student of Tweneboa Kodua Senior High School, of his boxer motorbike, murdered and buried him in a cocoa farm near benebene.”
“Following the arrest, the suspect together with his minor accomplice led the police to the scene where the body of the deceased was found…” the statement added.
The two suspects are expected to be put before court on Tuesday (9 August).
