Reports reveal that officials in Iraq have rulled that a Nigerian lady be put to de@th by be@ting for allegedly attempting to ki!! herself even before she was being saved.

The consequence is that she has been sentenced to de@th by physical beating

The victim identified as Dose Rebecca Oluwaseunfunmi, was a traveller in the strict Islamic country after leaving her home country to seek better conditions of life.

“Regrettably, she finds herself in a precarious situation in Iraq as she made an attempt on her own life and, though she was rescued, she has now received a harsh sentence to be subjected to fatal be@tings next month (November) due to her suicide attempt,” as reported by a source who is urging the government led by President Bola Tinubu to step in and help.

The Sahara Reporters linked up with the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), but its Head of Media, Abdurrahmaan Balogun Arab said the incident was not known to them.

“We are oblivious of it. Can a family member or anyone with details send a petition to admin@nidcom.gov.ng,” he is recorded to have said to Sahara Reporters in a text.

This is not a good sign considering that recently another citizen of Nigerian man was reportedly lynched to death by a number of Chinese in Philippines states.

He was tortured by these bandits with his hands tied and his his hands and eyes closed while he received beatings until his passed on.
