The wife of the embattled police Inspector who shot and killed his girlfriend in Kumasi has speaking for the first time and has exposed some secrets.

According to Mrs. Darko, Maadwoa, the deceased caused confusion in her long time marriage with the runaway police officer, Inspector Darko.

According to the woman, because of the relationship between his husband and the Kumasi Adum based woman, the husband frequently threaten to divorce  her.

Mrs. added that, Maadwoa could be on the phone with her(Mrs Darko) husband until 1am before the husband will join her in the bedroom.

Victoria Dapaah, popularly known as Maadwoa was shot dead on Thursday by police officer  boyfriend, identified as Inspector Darko.

The police officer allegedly shot her 5 times to death for allegedly cheating on him in their relationship.

The incident happened at Kumasi Adum.

Information suggests that the police officer who committed the act was part of the Ashanti Regional SWAT Unit of the Ghana Police Service (GPS).

He is a middle-aged man who has been in a relationship with the deceased for quite some time, supported her financially, and also provided for her needs most of the time.

According to those who were familiar with the relationship, the two were planning on getting married, and Maadwao had assured him of her commitment to the relationship.

But, infidelity on the part of Maadwoa according to the suspect police officer, caused her sadden death.

Her body has been kept at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital’s morgue for autopsy and preservation.
