News coming in from the Ashanti Region indicates that, the police officer who k!lled adult woman at Adum in Kumasi has been arrested this evening.
According to the Ashanti Regional Police Command’s statement sighted by Filasconews.com, Inspector Ahmed Twumasi who gunned down his girlfriend, Victoria Dapaah popularly called Maadwoa was apprehended at Sekyere, near Effiduase in the Ashanti Region.
According to police report, Inspector Ahmed will be prepared for court to face the full rigors of the law.

Background
Inspector Ahmed Twumasi shot Maadwoa to death on Thursday after he accused her of cheating on him.
The police officer on Thursday evening around 10:30pm visited the girlfriend at her house at Adum-Nsuase, Kumasi. He Called her on phone to come outside to discuss something with her and brutally shot her multiple times to death.
He shot her with Six(6) bullets before he took off from the crime scene in a tricycle (Aboboyaa).
The woman was later rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
