BREAKING: 8 Die As Boat Capsizes On Oti River
News coming in indicates that, a Boat carrying Fifteen(15) people has capsized on the Oti River, killing Eight(8) people.
The incident happened around 12pm on Monday, March 27, 2023.
Nana Tweneboah, who confirmed the news to Filasconews.com said, the boat was carrying mourners on the Oti River from a village called Kpajoti in the Krachi Nchumuru District to Sabaja in the Krachi West Municipality when it capsized at a point on the river.
The deaths include Six(6) adults and two(2) children.
Seven others also survived the accident, while one among the survivors has been admitted at the hospital for treatment due to the extent of injury.
