I was honored and privileged to be in Damango yesterday for the colorful outdooring of the newly enskinned Yagbonwura of the Gonja State, Bii-Kunuto Jawu Soale at the Jakpa Palace. The attendance was massive and brought representation from many parts of Ghana.
I congratulated the new Yagbonwura, wished him a healthy and long life and assured him of Government’s determination to support him in his stated vision to settle all territorial and Chieftaincy disputes peacefully.
Indeed, the smooth and peaceful succession arrangements for the Yagbonwura is highly commendable and worth emulating.
Once again, my heartfelt Congratulations to the Yagbonwura. Wishing you a long and successful reign.
