Pule Herbert Isak Makgoe, better known by his nickname Tate Makgoe, was a politician in South Africa. He was born on May 12th, 1963, in the town of Tumahole, which is located in the Parys district of the Free State province in South Africa. He participated in the affairs of the African National Congress as a delegate.
Since May 2009, he has been serving as the Member of the Executive Council for Education in the Free State. On May 14, 1994, Makgoe took his oath of office to become a member of the Free State Provincial Legislature. Nonetheless, it is with deep regret that I must inform the world of his passing today.
Free State Member of the Executive Council for Education Tate Makgoe was killed in an automobile accident early on the morning of March 5 on the N1 west of Winburg. Makgoe and his bodyguard both passed away, while the driver of Makgoe’s automobile was transferred to Windburg Hospital with moderate injuries after sustaining moderate injuries during the crash.
Makgoe and his two bodyguards were reportedly unable to escape the vehicle when it collided with two cows, according to Sello Dithebe, a spokesman for the Premier of the Free State. According to Dithebe, the jaws of life were utilized by emergency personnel in order to liberate the three individuals.
A popular politician died in a car crash this morning.
Since 1994, Makgoe has served as a member of the provincial legislature, and in 2009, he was appointed to the position of Member of the Executive Council for Education.
