Information reaching newsplatformonline desk indicates that a two months old baby has been butchered with his intestines removed by unknown assailants at Anwiankwanta in the Bekwai municipality of the Ashanti Region.
According to reports, the mother of the baby with name Ohenewaa was sleeping with her baby in her room only for him to wake up to realized that the baby wasn’t there with her.
Ohenewaa (mother) later heard a the baby screaming at the back of the house only for her to go see her two months baby in a pool of blood with the baby’s intestines removed. This happened around 1am to 2am today. Per the scene view, the suspect stabbed the baby with a cutlass.
The Assembly Member of Anwiankwanta Electoral area, Hon. Frank Awuah confirming the incident to newsplatformonline noted that so far no arrest has been made and the remains of the baby has been taken by the Police to the morgue for autopsy, Police has taken over the case for further investigation.
