Interesting: Church members leave church service to chase ‘galamsey’ money
It was Sunday and the people of Boaya, near Benna Nkwanta under ‘Woman No Good’ Electoral area in the Amenfi West Municipality of the Western Region were worshipping God in the Church.
Few minutes into the worshipping, a message was relayed to them by some young men(Galamseyers) in the community that, they have found gold around the area and people are moving from within and outside the community to the area where the alleged gold has been found to dig.
Surprisingly, everybody in the church auditorium, hurriedly walked out of the Church building and straight, to the bush to mine illegally to look for the alleged gold.
Not the Church members alone… Women, children and elderly all rushed to the galamsey site to have their share of the so called gold.
Have they found their gold or not? …and have the church members returned to the church auditorium?
