New Wassa Japa Tufuhene poised for development
The newly installed Chief of Wassa Japa in Wassa Amenfi East Municipal of the Western Region, Nana Buadum (ii) says he’s poised to supporting the prosecution of Japa development agenda.
According to the chief, development has over the past 3 years has not been met because of the absent of Tufuhene in the area.
To this end, he is charged to collaborate with the member of Parliament and the municipal Chief executive for Amenfi East to help bring development to the community.
According to the Tufuhene, social amenities and infrastructure such as schools, health, police station and other community needs will be given a priority.
Nana Buadum told Nana Kwame Buah a journalist after his instalment as Tufuhene for Japa on Tuesday.
For her part, the Tufuhemaa of Wassa Japa, Nana Afia Korankyiwaa (ii) expressed her heartfelt gratitude saying at long last after 3 years, Japa can now boast of having a new Tufuhene.
She mentioned that the instalment of Nana Buadum as Tufuhene will make her work easier because there will be a shared responsibility among her and the Tufuhene.
Nana Afia Korankyiwaa assured the residents of providing development to make their standard of living a comfortable one.
