A/R: Women’s organizer of NPP dies in an accident | PHOTOS
Lydia Ampofo(23), the women’s organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Bonteso of the Ashanti Region has died through accident.
The accident which occured on the Mpasatia road killed the NPP women’s organiser including four others.
They were in a taxi cab from Nkawie to Bonteso when their vehicle crashed with another car at a point on the road.
The women’s organiser of the NPP Lydia Ampofo together with some other victims of the accident were rushed to the hospital for treatment but died upon arrival.
Two died on the spot including the driver of the taxi.
The accident occured on Wednesday January 25, 2023.
The bodies have been deposited at the morgue for autopsy and preservation.
