Police investigate audio tape on alleged unprofessional conduct of some police officers

The Ghana Police Service (GPS) have commenced investigation into the audio tape on alleged unprofessional act by some of their officers.

A viral audio tape of alleged police officers accusing a driver of planting a suspected narcotic drug in his vehicle.

It has been also alleged that, the officers in the said audio planted the narcotic drugs in the civilian’s vehicle in order to effect his arrest and extort money from him.

The Police say their attention have been drawn to the audio tape and have started probing it.

The Police added in their press release sighted by Filasconews.com that, anyone with the information about the said audio tape can contact the police on a number they have provided in their release.

The statement was signed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Director of Public Affairs, Grace Ansah Akrofi.
