Ahafo Ano south west: Aspiring MP supports community centre project, donates motorbikes to assembly members

The Aspiring New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Ahafo Ano South West Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Mr. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah, has supported the construction of the Mpasaaso No1 Community Centre with building materials and cash.

Hon. Mensah Dapaah donated 100 bags of cement and GHc.10,000 in support of the community centre located in his constituency.

In an interview with Silver FM’s AKWADAA NYAME, he said the donation was made towards the completion of the Mpasaaso No1 Community Centre that commenced in 2021.

In 2021, Mr. Dapaah who is also a philanthropist made a similar donation of motorbikes to the assembly members in the constituency to facilitate the day-to-day activities in their respective electoral areas.

During the presentation, Hon Osei Mensah Dapaah, commended the assembly members for their selfless dedication and sacrifices to the people over the years. He said, it takes a lot of sacrifice to serve in the position of an Assembly member since you are always the first point of call to the people.

He stressed that, through government is doing his best to provide the needed logistics and welfare packages to enable them better discharge their duties and represent the people at the grassroot level but government can not do it alone hence to support them with the little he have and committed to contributing toward developmental projects in the constituency.

Hon Charles K. Asare, Assembly member for Mpasaaso No1 thank the Aspiring member of Parliament for the kind gesture.

He said, the timely delivery of the motorbikes and support of the construction of the community centre would go a long way to aid them to run the day-to-day activities in their various election areas.
