HEARTBREAKING: Police officer and family perish in a fire outbreak at Apromase police barracks(PHOTOS)
Early Monday morning fire outbreak at Apromase Police Barracks in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region has claimed the lives of a police officer and his nuclear family.
The Police officer, his wife and child died in the fire outbreak on Monday January 16, 2023, at the aforementioned location.
Eye witness, Ante Lydia who spoke to Filasconews.com early this morning said, the fire gutted the barracks and as a result razing down the officer who was at that time asleep with his family room completely.
They burned beyond recognition.
The deceased police officer was with the anti-robbery unit of the Ashanti Regional Police Command.
The charred bodies of the family have been deposited at the morgue awaiting autopsy and preservation.
The police have began investigation into the matter while Fire Service commenced probe into the circumstances that led to the fire outbreak.
