The publication further indicated that the Ghana Education Service was yet to officially communicate this however, the details as captured in this post have been sent to the various District Directorates of Education already.
The directive informed all basic school heads to compile the list of pupil teachers in their schools along with their Staff IDs.
All teachers who are pupil teachers in public schools are not expected to report for the 2023 Academic year.
The directive covers all such teachers who have not been able to upgrade themselves per the requirements of the Ghana Education Service and the National Teaching Council.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) is expected to communicate the above directive officially to various districts in the coming days/weeks. However, all teachers who have not upgraded themselves and fall within the given description are to get in touch with their respective District Directorates of Education for further details.
