One of the potential COVID -19 Vaccine producers in Ghana DEK consutium has today launches DEK Vaccine Project in Accra.
The aim of the project seeks to support Ghanaians from any future pandemic occurrences that’s may arise..
Managing Director of DEK Marking , Kofi Nsiah Poku discloses to media at the short ceremony that the product a locally manufacturing product of which apart from COVID 19 test other pandemic like Typhiod, Malaria, polio and many others.
According to him manufacturing of these product will start by 2024 , whereas commercial production will start by close of 2024.
Meanwhile Dr. Anthony Nsia Asare at the presidency touched on the need as country to adequately prepare for future pandemic in other to ease away fear and panic from Ghanaians.
He emphasize on the availability of locally manufacturing product of vaccine to reach a certain percentage in that the country will not depend so much on other country for vaccine whenever there is an out break.
