The National Chairman for National Democratic Congress (NDC) Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has categorically stated that both Samuel Koku Anyidoho and Allotey Jacobs are not part of his campaign team as speculated.
According to him, he was part of those who took the decision to sack Koku Anyidoho and Allotey Jacobs from the party and he would be the last person to undermine the same party he belongs to.
Ofosu Ampofo who is seeking reelection for the chairmanship position noted that he ended his campaign tour in Accra and about 10 to 15 constituency chairmen formed part of his campaign team.
He thus argues that he does not lack people who will do the campaign for him.
He told Tv xyz and power fm news Reporter Emmanuel Adjetey, when he engaged the 33 constituency and the newly elected Regional NDC Executives at the ‘Bed Time, Hotel in Koforidua to ask them to vote for him when the time is due.
Samuel Ofosu Ampofo further challenged all those contesting him to boldly come out and tell the party what they will do when voted for and stop tarnishing his image.
“Again let me emphatically state that am not ‘Anti-John Mahama’, I have worked with him before and would continue to work with him if the delegates give me another nod to lead the party as the national chairman,” he clarifies.
