Suspected Fulani robber shot dead by a Police Officer on Ejura-Dromankuma road

A suspected armed robber has been allegedly shot dead by a Police Officer on the Ejura-Dromankuma road in the Ashanti Region.
The incident happened on Sunday, November 13, 2022, around 3:50am.
According to the report gathered Filasconews.com, the deceased, suspected to be a Fulani were in company with 4 other people robbing passengers off their belongings on the above-mentioned stretch.
The alleged Police Officer who shot dead the robber was onboard in an OA bus as an escort traveling from Accra to Yeji.
On reaching a section of the road between Ejura and Dromankuma curve, they bumped into four armed men robbing passengers.
In an attempt to rob their bus, the Policeman shot and killed one of the robbers.
The Ejura Police who received information about the incident proceeded to the scene and found a male Fulani aged about 21 with gun wounds on his left knee, thigh and stomach lying dead.
A knife, stick, a bag containing SQ mobile phone, cash of ghc 260 and Arabic inscription on white papers were found on the deceased.
His body was conveyed to the Mampong Government Hospital mortuary.
